Hello All,
The November pack meeting will be held at Tabernacle Baptist Church on Leesville Road. (See http://tabernacle-raleigh.org). Abbotswood has a special event and cannot accomodate us. Good Shepherd will be hosting WIHN that night.
The meeting will start at 6:45 pm with gathering activities and the flag ceremony will be at 7:00 pm. The Webelos 1 den is responsible for setup and should be at the church at 6:30 pm. The Bears den will be conducting the flag ceremony.
The proper attire for pack meetings is the Class A uniform. Please have your boy wear his Class A uniform to the meeting. Please work with him to make sure he is dressed properly with his shirt tucked in and his neckerchief underneath his collar.
The theme for the meeting is "Seeds of Kindness." Since we will not be bringing snacks to share with the Abbotswood residents, please bring canned vegetables, canned meats or boxed pasta to donate to the Food Bank. Teaching our boys to give to others is an important lesson.
I'm looking forward to seeing everyone on Tuesday and hearing about the pack camping trip.
